I saw this here and thought I'd give it a shot.
#5-40 button-head cap screws are quite difficult to find at the local hardware store or Home Depot, so I had to order a 100 pack from McMaster-Carr for $15.
Well, I stripped the original set screw trying to get it out, and have been unsuccessful in removing the damaged screw. So my rifle now has a permanent Magpul Enhanced Trigger Guard for the time being, and I can't even use the screws I just bought.
I'm going to keep several of these screws for any future builds or if I ever get the stripped set screw out, but if any of you have interest in trying these screws out for own rifles, let me know and I will share some
