I am not popular for saying this but Romney is just a richer BHO, and much more likely to become a gun grabber.

Between the two Ill take 4 more years of BHO please.

I call B.S. Romney is Obama Lite. I will vote for him if he is the nominee. This election is crucial to the future of our country. The Republicans may not keep the House and may not win the Senate. Even if the Republicans capture both houses of Congress, Obama does not need them. He will enact his will through executive orders and other ways of skirting the law. He will appoint many judges. He will get several Supreme Court appointments. The end of our freedoms will come quickly during his second term.

Say we elect Romney, even though he is a lying scumbag, he is not as big of an immediate threat to our way of life as BHO, better judicial appointments, better fiscal policy etc, I'm not saying that isn't true. The RNC sees this as an affirmation that the people will elect a liberal RHINO if they throw enough money at him, we proved that theory wrong 4 years ago with McFail, and looks like they haven't learned. While people ultimately vote and caucus to determine the candidate, the RNC and their associated PACs deliver funding, this go around almost all of it went to Romney, he is their chosen one.

Lots of older "Kennedy democrats" lament their party being stolen by radical socialists, the whole "I didn't leave the party, the party left me" thing. The same thing has been happening to the republican party, although with much less attention, but those stealing the party are no less radical, and no less dangerous than those that stole the Democrat leadership from moderates. This is how a country that consistently identifies itself as "center right" is being held hostage by the current left wing revolutionaries, and seems to be grooming a left wing liberal as the sole competitor. With Obama, conservatives organize aggainst him, get out and protest, stay informed, and get others involved, this may just be better overall than those same people simply sitting home shaking their fist at Romney on TV because he is a little closer to their ideology. My own ideology is mostly libertarian, I just want the government to get smaller, weaker, and leave me the hell alone, I don't want them to pass ANY laws on my behalf, but pray they will repeal as many as they can. I don't want a republican president to waste years trying to ban gay marriage, tell me to pray to jesus, and use the police to enforce clean christian morality. I also don't want a democrat president to rob me, brainwash my kids, send lawyers and the police to shut me up, and jam a liberal lifestyle down my throat. I know a 3rd party is not viable now, might never be. Unfortunately the majority of the population accepts R or D as the complete manifestation of their political ideology, those that don't can't agree on anything. Even within the various 3rd party parties there is so much squabbling as to what goes too far, and what doesn't go too far enough that there is no cohesion, no organization, and no way to challenge the money and influence the big 2 have.

I really wish there was another way, but until Conservatives can get out there and be as vocal, and unappolagetic in their beliefs as Obama's supporters, we won't win. Obama is damaging to the country, but if Romney is elected, then in 2016 people will get tired of him, and the status quo will swing back to democrat, possibly in both houses along with the presidency, he will try to swindle the people and make whatever backroom deals he can with the democrats to get re-elected, and we will probably end up with an Uber Obama to be named later, and both houses under the control of radicals. IMO we will be worse off than if republicans control congress, and can oppose, or impeach Obama, conservatives stay motivated aggainst the president's policies, and the RNC finally realizes that we won't support a turd slightly cleaner than the other nominee. I voted for McCain, who was the slightly cleaner turd 4 years ago, and I won't do it again. I won't just sit back and yell at the TV either, I write letters to the RNC, and republican politicians who choose to officially support Romney, I donate to his opposition, and try my best to be the loud obnoxious conservative radical that I wish we all could be.

It pains me to say this but...
I wonder if 4 more years of Pres. Hussein might be better in the long term for the country? As Alucard said, they'll be back in 4 years with what the RNC is pushing on us anyway. I don't WANT this but perhaps it's what the remaining "sleeper" republicans need to wake the f*** up and shift things where they need to be. Outside of SC appointees, we don't need him... Furthermore, I'm not so sure he would appoint the right SC Justices anyway.. I just trust him.

I have been posting thoughts like yours and alucard's for a while. Be prepared to garner a bit of hate from both sides.

All politicians are out to screw us. If they would post pictures of them in the shower I would know who to vote for. I'd pick the one with the smallest dick and hope he owns stock in KY.

Since that isn't going to happen i'll just keep stocking up on ammo.

Romney signed the first AWB IN THE COUNTRY.

He qudrupled the cost of FID cards (license to OWN firearms, buy ammo etc.

He claimed to be a "lifelong hunter" during his last campaign, and got called out on it, ended up he never held a hunting license. He went along during a bird hunt at a Republican fundraiser, and claimed to have shot a rabbit once when he was a kid.

He was a vocal supporter of the Brady bill and gun control for a couple decades. He even went as far as to say "my position won't make me a hero of the NRA." He bought an NRA lifetime membership in 2006 when his campaign suggested it.

He is a wannabe fudd when his handlers think it will help him. He is a liar, a hypocrite, and his reccord speaks for itself. He is the most decietful slimeball running IMO, including Obama, at least Obama comes out and SAYS the batspit crazy stuff he supports, Romney will say whatever he thinks will help his election campaign, than does whatever his black liberal heart desires. It is apparent the republican party has not learned from 2008, they keep pushing "communist light", and patting themselves on the back all the way to election night, guess they don't call them the stupid party for nothing. I won't vote for him if he wins the nomination, I hate the guy to that degree. I know that is basically a "vote for Barry Hussein", and as much as I hate his ideology, it brings conservatives together and gets them involved, ideally that would be with a house and senate in Republican control so nothing gets done. While it probably won't happen, I hope someone else, ANYONE else plays spoiler and gets the nomination instead of Romney. Hopefully the RNC gets their heads out of their asses in 2016.

Any you think Darth Gingrich or Santorum are any better on 2A?

    Nope.

They've both signed into law some of the most hideous Gun Control Legislation we have......and better yet failed to oppose it or repeal it when they had majorities in Congress.

The ONLY candidate that has a proven track record of being Pro 2A is Dr No (Ron Paul).....the guy that carries around a copy of the Constitution in his pocket.

I have to agree with most of this.

Our current problem in the house for example is not that members of the GOP are too Conservative/Libertarian in their votes......quite the opposite.....they cave on every spending bill and have been passing spending appropriations that are as bad or worse than the Democrats of 2008-10

We WILL lose a good chunk of House Repubicans this year because they've been spineless.

However I believe your argument wrt Romney and 2012 applies to ALL candidates currently running except for Ron Paul.....he's currently the only candidate that actually offers voters a REDUCTION in the size and scope of Government.

Personally I'm kinda hoping for a brokered convention that gives us Sen Jim DeMint as the GOP Candidate.......

I have to agree with this,

It might just take another 4 years of a Communist In Chief to teach people a lesson

The other side benefit is that we will likely get 4 years of Gridlock from a legislative perspective and thats a good thing for Citizens.

Do you think the RP bots grasp that? :sad20: Once Bobo appoints two more Supreme's it's game over and they deserve what they get. I don't like Romney but considering a unbridled Bobo as an alternative I'll take him for the next 4.

They don't. They blame everyone but Ron Paul for his failure to win a primary. Simple fact is that he is not marketable.

They're young and stupid....they deserve a life without 2A rights if they can't grasp the big picture. Paul is a career politician, not a very good one at that....he's made no impact with his hundred years in congress. He might as well have been voting "present" like the piece of shit in the WH.

Only one of Obama's picks got a vote on this issue so far. The conservatives on the court can hold on and wait for the right time to go.
