Also, what's the scoop with the DFK 89K "legality issue"? Do they finally put the 'can an AOW be an assault pistol?' issue into writing?

I presume that someone wasn't thrilled that it was parts-compatible with the SP-89 assault pistol.

We went over that, and it is OK as an AOW, but not as a standard handgun, like the AA89K SBR we submitted (although that is too short to sell as an SBR currently). I am not sure how they are going to clarify that in terms of the published roster though.

No restriction on barrel profile for handguns whatsoever.
