“If you are a sheriff in Maryland you must take an oath to uphold the law and the Constitution,” said Frosh, now the Democratic nominee for Maryland attorney general. “… It’s not up to a sheriff to decide what’s constitutional and what isn’t. That’s what our courts are for.”

    Maybe he should have said
“If you are a Senator in Maryland you must take an oath to uphold the law and the Constitution,” said Frosh, now the Democratic nominee for Maryland attorney general. “… It’s not up to a Senator to decide what’s constitutional and what isn’t. That’s what our courts are for.”

But he enforces "State" gun laws. Even did a shell AK buy off local sales paper. Having the seller cross the DE line into Maryland. Sheriff Lewis was on WBOC (channel 16) making a big deal out of the "seller" having loaded 30 round magazines.

While I do like Mike, I'll always remember he is a retired MSP sergeant.
