    Finally got that sumbitch.

Wasn't very pretty, but the old barrel is out - in more than 1 way. There was almost no rifling left in the first 1/4" of the barrel. I'd say it was due for replacement.

Just waiting on a longer action screw, headspace gauges, and an action wrench before it gets put back together.

How many rounds down the bore?

If you go for bottom metal, I got a .223 AICS mag I won't be needing anymore. :)

    The gem of my collection-

TacOps Tango-51 with a NF 5.5-22x50. Its precision blows me away everytime I use it.

Above is the Tactical Operations Tango-51 .308 built by Mike Resigno. Below is a Delta-55 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser, also built by Mike. Mike Resigno has built rifles for over 600 agencies around the world- the guy knows his stuff and his customer list proves it. The Tango prints the same groups as the Delta, as Mike guarantees a 1/4 MOA with Federal Gold Medal Match 168g ammunition. Go ahead and call him on that guarantee.

The Delta-55 does not carry that guarantee however, because nobody keeps a match round on the market in 6.5x55 Swede. There are less than ten Delta 55's in the world. If you want to call me on that, go ahead, and I will shoot a group just for you.

    The Swede rifle-

    Remington 700 action
McMillan A3 stock with TacOps epoxy coating
    Kreiger barrel 24" barrel
    Atlas bipod
Nightforce NXS F1 3.5-15x50 with MLR 2.0 scope
    Nightforce rings
    TacOps 20 MOA scope base
Walter Birdsong Black-T and Green-T coatings on all metal, minus scope rings and scope, as they were added afterwards in this case.

    The group-

The Tango-51 does the same thing as the Delta-55. They're almost boring after awhile.
The groupings speak for the rifles. Mike is a perfectionist. Close enough is not good enough.

It's crappy outside, so the phone picture is going to have to do for now. Not 100% complete (about 90% there), but couldn't resist posting a mock-up picture.

What is mounted to the stock in front of the bipod?

One of these days I'll have something with an A5 or A4 style stock. I've always liked the "hook" built in on the bottom.

It's a Harris adapter for the flat-bottom stocks.

I like the stocks with the hook, easy to set on some sandbags, or your support hand if bags aren't handy.

    Wow that's nice. .223?

.260 Remington. It started life as a .223, and shot great considering the barrel was almost shot out - but I wanted something with a little more legs to it that'd buck the wind better, hence the .260 conversion.

Remington 700 in .308, action and recoil lug trued, barrel cut to 18" and threaded
    HS Precision Stock
Badger bottom metal and bolt knob
Leupold 20 MOA base and rings
Leupold Mk 4 3.5x-10x with TMR Reticle
    YHM Phantom Suppressor

Might not look all that pretty with the rattlecan paint job and being drug through sand, mud, etc. through the years....but she shoots very nicely (1/2-3/4 MOA)
