Found an old sbs Ithaca 37 that has been refinished on gun trader. The seller says after the NFA forms clear the gun would be sent to MSP to be added to the approved handgun list. I know some of this has aready been done for sbrs but I didn't think that was required for sbs. Could someone educate me on this process.

    Thanks

I'm guessing it has to do with MSP's determination that anything with a bbl under 14in is a handgun.
