    hope the map works..

take 2 south (if you coming from the north, annapolis side) or route 4 from beltway,
then take route 260 toward north beach/chesapeake beach, follow that all the way to the intersection of 261 then turn right at 261,
you'll pass rolands on the left, then school on the right, as soon you pass the school, downhill, you'll see a swamp area on the left and slow down, the park entrance is on the left (new subdivision on the right but dont park there).

Try Brownie's Beach(Bayfront Park) in Chesapeake beach, it's hard to find(the sign is not next to the road) but not a bad place to find fossils and there's even tiny mystery antique glass beads of every color you can think of all over that beach too.
Another good place is Calvert Cliffs State Park but it costs a few bucks to go there and you need to hike a mile or two to the beach.
Of course the best places to look would be directly under the cliffs on private property, but it's definitely dangerous searching under the cliffs since parts of it are constantly falling so I don't recommend it plus cliff access seems to be prohibited in the public parks.
    Here's a good link....

    Good luck!
It's getting harder and harder to find the big ones but they are still out there.

Ill second brownies been going there for ever. Just be respectful and dont dig in the cliffs (for safety as well).

Here's a few things found in Calvert County.
The big teeth on the left were found at the cliffs years ago, I purchased the largest one from the "fossil guy" on Rt 4.
Most of what you will find a Brownies and elsewhere will be the size of those smaller ones, and also look out for fossil bones too.

All these glass trade beads were found at Brownie's Beach, pick up a handful of sand just about anywhere on the beach and dig through it, you will find one every few handfuls if they didn't all wash away from the storms.
They're all glass and some of them are very tiny, one has been identified as a "green heart" bead which were made in Venice in the 1600's or 1700's and some of them appear to be hand made.
Nobody seems to know exactly how old they are or where they came from but they're there.

Walk along the beach anywhere from Breezy Point to Dare's Beach and you will find fossil shark teeth and bone fragments (mostly dolphin/whale, but occasionally something else...). I've spent hundreds of hours fossicking in the area over the past decade and found thousands of teeth. Most are small to tiny, but every so often you find some bigger ones. The key is to find the search image -- the teeth tend to be a little darker than the sand, and will stand out visually, but their color spectrum varies widely; the shapes are more consistent and more useful to look for -- and the second key is to land in an area with teeth. There are bare spots, and they wander a bit, depending on tides/erosion/ the phase of the moon and god knows what, and it can change from day to day.

I walked the entire stretch one morning a few weekends ago, right after Irene. There are a few cliffs in the stretch, and surprisingly little new erosion on them from the storm. Lots of downed trees that had accumulated over the past 2y and made the hike difficult were cleared away, with only one or two trees down along the entire stretch. There was a good 10-20 yards of fresh sand beach up under the cliffs making almost a boardwalk, but much of that had eroded away by two weeks later.

My experience is that the stretch for a mile south of Breezy Point Marina is most reliably productive. Have fun!
