FYI ATF came out with the legal letter saying it is LEGAL to shoulder a pistol and it does NOT change the classification of the firearm.

Does anyone know if ANY buffer tube will work with this?

Any pistol buffer tube should work. Some are designed with the sig brace in mind though. I have a phase 5 hex tube which is designed for the sig brace. It gives it a lip away from gun to increase lop some.

There's also a really wide castle nut that doubles as a spacer if you've already got a regular buffer tube:

It adds 1.6 inches to LoP with the Sig brace shouldered.

KAK has a spacer kit too for $12.00.
2 spacers .625 and 1.250 or combined for 1.875.
Just may try that if needed.

Does anyone know the inner diameter of the KAK spacers? I would assume that they fit around most pistol buffer tubes, but you know what happens when making assumptions...

I'm putting a 9mm pistol together and I bought the Phase 5 tube. How do you like it?

Did you get the plug for the back of the Sigtac brace?
