I hate the Military Channel! Just having Crane giving commentary is enough to make me turn it off. Did anyone notice that the one clip when they were talking recoil and muzzle climb was a guy launching a 40mm round? Lots of the other clips were of semi-auto fire. It ruins the actual discussion of the subject weapon system.

The slow rate of fire is attained by an attenuating sear trip that delays the activation of the automatic sear when the bolt carrier slams forward. I use the upper with an edinine buffer and it's about 450rpm. That's grease gun slow.

The delayed sear trip looks somewhat fragile . It is also prone to malfunctions when dirty or encrusted with soot. The soar-p or piston system seems to be an improvement to enhance reliability.

For full auto/ burst fire. I'm happy with the edinine buffer( around 650 rpm). But the soar does feel like a browning automatic rifle in terms of a slow rate of fire.most uppers also come compensated to enhance control and reduce muzzle flip.

It's a nice system. But one needs to keep it clean all the time.
