I found a Rolling Block rifle on consignment at a local shop. There is no information on it. It is in 32-20 and looks absolutely in excellent to new condition. The only markings on it are the serial number on the barrel and reciever (11622), and Remington Arms marked only on the barrel.

It is missing the rear creedmor sight. It is deeply blued over the entire rifle. There is no case hardening.

There are no import marks or any other visible markings.

I know that EMF and Pedersol make reproductions with casehardened receivers. This one is deep blued. I know that Remingon made some reproductions into the late 1970s or 1980s, but there is no information about those rifles to be found.

If you have any information please let me know. I am intrigued. If you are interested, it is at United in Rockville.
