Best bang for your buck .50 bmg

A good friend of mine wants to pick up a rifle in .50 next year. He wants a bolt action, preferably with a box magazine, but not if it costs $2k more than its single shot equivalence. I told him I would poll the audience here and also do a little research myself. Thanks for your help!

Did you think of having him look at the AR conversion? He can use his existing AR15 lower and by popping out a few parts, he can have a bolt action, mag fed 50BMG!

Tell him to look into a McBros. They're a little dated but built like a tank and über reliable. They're available from time to time if you keep your eyes open. In fact, I know where one is that might just be available...
