    The money is about right but, I wouldn't use any of those accoutrements(too rich for my blood) on my rifle.

    100% correct, people ask me why I build my own, I tell them. "If I buy a rifle off the shelf by the time I am done I will have couple hundred dollars worth of parts I don't want or will likely use again." I stock pile LPKs and stocks for future builds or future needs
