    +1 on everything Lou said.

Plus an extra thanks to Fabs for lending me his junior shotgun - that naturally Lou had to mention I would never outgrow... which then promoted a serious loss in his take-home cookie count :D

    :lol2::lol2::lol2::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Not only did she penalize my "take-home cookie count" but she also gave me the finger...........................and I gotta' feelin' there will be more on that subject forthcoming in the not too distant future.

Yeppers on everything Lou and SNI said. And SNI notice how some of use didn't make any short jokes today? Which should increase said persons cookie count.

And Bolts thanks again dude for the Weesquatch sized shotgun vest.

This is true, Mopar did not make any short jokes today.

    And you're welcome Weesquatch!

The above will not apply after I get home from work tomorrow.

We (SNI, Bolts Rock, NY Transplant, Mopar, and myself) had a really nice afternoon at CCGC chootin' trap and also chootin' da chit.:D Apparently Augie (another forum member here) was monitoring this thread and shoots there regularly, so unbeknownst to us he volunteered his services with the club ahead of time to be there and escort/show us the ropes and be our mentor for the day. Thanks Augie for your time and help from all of us, we really enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful time.:)

We will definitely be back for more in the not distant future.:D

Thanks Lou, had a good time shooting with everyone and meeting some forum members I had not met before. Great cookies from SNI.

Glad everybody had a great time and wish I could have been there. Hopefully, I can make the next one since I am pretty much stocked up on firewood at this point. However, lately there is always something that needs to be done or get done.

One of these days I'm gonna make a purchase. Then I will be in every chance I get.

Want to borrow my gun again? I have to meet with a client on Sunday, but you are more than welcome to borrow it. Wish I could actually shoot. Then again, they are calling for rain on Sunday, so maybe I won't be jealous.

About to pull the trigger on some reloading equipment and supplies. That way, I can have some fun indoors when it rains on a Sunday during hunting season (i.e., rain is ideal for waterfowling).

That would be awesome. I gotta get one just like yours!

As it stands right now, the weather looks as though it may not cooperate but I'm keepin' my fingers crossed. I'll post later tonight after I catch the detailed forecast on FOX at ten.

NOAA says it'll be partly cloudy. High around 60. Seems perfect for shotgun practice. :)

That sounds good but I wanna' get a more localized confirmation on this later in this hour from fox45. I'll post back up when I see the report in about 45 to 50 minutes.

BTW, NOAH already KNEW the flood was commin'. Why do you think he built that big boat???

Fox45 said 60 and mostly sunny on Sunday. SNI, grab fabs gun, game on for 1:00 PM at CCGC. Augie might be there too as I talked with him today.

I believe "partly cloudy" = "mostly sunny"

Did I ever mention I have an inside track on weather conditions/forecasting? :D

Today we had Fabs and dad, SNI, and myself show up and did some chootin' them trap thinggys, we really had a good time. Met some other trap shooters there that we were squadded with as fabs and dad had to leave after two rounds'a trap and had a good time shootin' with them too. If ya's never tried chootin' trap and would like ta' try it, I recommend Carroll County Gun Club as they're casual and low key. I go there with my mismatched tactikool belt gear for holding ammo pouch and spent hull pouch, SNI wears a stanley tool belt for ammo pouches, and Fabs wears a small hefty trash bag for an ammo pouch and do we ever look like a motely crew.:lol2: J/K on Fabs trash bag.:D

I will be starting a thread in the recreational shooting subheading soon (where this belongs) for the next bout of trap chootin' at CCGC that we will be doin' hopefully the last Sunday of October, weather permitting.

Sorry I had to cut out so soon, but figured some shooting is better than none at all. Glad I was able to squeeze it in before my first meeting. Sadly, just getting back from my meetings today. Luckily, I like what I do for a living. Sadly, I really like shooting.

I am located smack dab in the middle of CCGC, AGC, and PG Trap & Skeet. Life is GOOD. Just need to get out and shoot more. Maybe when the kids get interested in it.

Edit to add: It was really nice shooting with you guys and I am going to try to make it at the end of October, weather and schedule permitting.

I will never give up my tool belt. It's so awesome and keeps the rounds square with the 5 compartments.

You left out my makeshift shoulder bumper...

Nothing better than being outside on a fall day with good friends shooting. Shotguns are a whole new and exciting dimension to shooting and I am so grateful to fabs for lending me his to get acquainted (aka fall in love) with this sport. Was great meeting your pops today too!

Thanks Lou for making this happen today!

More than glad we could get it in today as the weather was lookin' kinda' bleak there for awhile and since then it's been lookin' bleak here in central Carroll.

BTW, I share your sentiment with your phrase "fall in love with this sport".
