    You've really got to ask why Mossberg is bothering with these plain-jane bolt rifles when 1) they don't have a particularly good rep for them and 2) the MVP line is super ultra hot.

    If it were me, I'd fully embrace the tactical bolt-action market and make MVPs that took AK mags, Glock mags, etc. It doesn't need to make sense, it just needs a half-decent 16" barrel, a popular magazine type, a black synthetic stock, and some 1913 rails judiciously spread about. I would also probably murder someone for a bolt gun that took BDM 22lr AR-15 mags.
