I am having a problem with the mount for my Strikefire red dot coming loose from the rail on my AR. I have tightened about as far as I feel I can before stripping the screw. I am not really looking for a fix for the mount but more as to what mount I should go with to replace.

Is the LaRue quick disconnect really worth the coin? I have no problem paying for quality it just seems priced high. Should I just get the LaRue or do you all have any other suggestions?

    Thanks

If the Larue QD is not just simply a Vortex Strikefire QD then yes its worth the coin. If its a generic say 30mm QD then you could use it again if you ever upgrade or sell it easier than a dedicated Vortex Strikefire QD mount.
