Yes it's ptac but it is only 299!

    edit:
I emailed to ask for an explanation about the M4 Heavy, this was my response!

    Hello,

Unfortunately, we currently do not have any upper receivers with heavy barrels installed.

    Thank you,

    Does "M4 heavy" equal HBAR?

What's the actual profile, m4 without the grenade launcher cuts, or M4A2? Neither of those is an HBAR.

I saw this myself and was debating. Will go on a pre-ban lower anyway. But what kind of accuracy can be expected from PTAC?

    Any chance at MOA?

    4150 nitrided barrel?

    Sold

it's worth the gamble in my opinion at this price.

button rifling has come a long long way towards putting out great quality barrels at great prices. And since a large large amount of the barrels out on the market are coming from a few really good sources, I am down to give this a try.

The best group I ever shot with iron sights EVER was from a JSE surplus 1-9 nitride upper.

I will probably put a better trigger in it, but this looks pretty well gtg.

No forward assist or dust cover but the barrel is .750 diameter so should qualify as hbar ive had good luck with ptac but no exp with this particular one that has no forward assist or dustcover

Not a true determining factor in and of it's self.

I am not going to buy the kit but I sent an email asking for clarification about the M4 Heavy Barrel. Hopefully they'll get back in time for the Clearance sale.

I'm done with palmetto. Their qc has gone way down hill even on their "higher end" stuff.

They also wouldn't post my review in their site pointing out the issues in an appropriate manner.

Edited my first post but adding here to bump...

This was the email I got:

WTF. I responded again asking why it was labeled Heavy.

They are quite confusing about using heavy in the item listing. Anyway I took a chance on this:
7780230 PSA 10.5" 5.56 NATO 1/7" Nitride Slim Hand guards Upper - without BCG or Charging Handle $179.99. I will just use it as a pistol upper for a CMMG 22 conversion for range plinking.

I've got a few of these kits on the way. $300 for everything except the lower receiver is an insane deal.

I'll post some pictures when they arrive so everybody can check out the features, the finish, and the heavy profile barrel.
