Came across these few days ago. Looks like the "battle belt" stormrider system might attract some. Me, I like nylon concealed carry belts. Actually, I don't know too many people who don't like anything nylon and velcro. :)

Payday is next week and I am ordering one. $44 bucks, I have spent more on worse. It's at least a decent belt if doesn't work as a decent gun belt.

I like the color combos you can make.

Well, here's one who hates Velcro. That said, that rig looks nice considering the price. If I cc'd, I might look into that, especially for that price. Seems like a good deal if it is as good as it looks

Maybe I'll have it before DelMarVa.

Looks pretty interesting. Trying to figure out their over and under system (which look like they could be interconnected) called Stormrider. Would imagine the overbelt might be useful for IPDA.

I think I'd stick with the handmade by a veteran and his wife right down in good ol' Tennessee.

That Midway belt is an inner and outer 2 belt system.

This is a single belt for concealed carry and the other is a system more of a "battle belt" set up.

Sorry, these belts scream operator. I prefer leather for around town CCW. My gun belts look like regular, keep your pants up belts.

Looking forward to a review of this belt. Only thing I'm not sure of is the way you open and close the belt and what actually holds the belt closed.

I'm tired of fighting my regular belt under my outer holster/mag belt.

I wear my shirts untucked. I could use rope and it wouldn't matter.
But, maybe some of us are operators :D

Oh, you're an operator alright. :lol2:

So, have you gotten it yet? And if so, how do you like it? I'm still digging the shoulder rig you turned me on to. Wish I could use it more often.

Think I'm ordering one this week. I'll let ya know.
I do love the survival sheath shoulder rigs!

Little delayed ordering it, but will be here today 12/23. :)
I actually got my inner one (didn't order the system) a few weeks ago. Probably should have ordered 6-inches larger than waistline (which I measured as they instructed) than 5-inches (if I remember the instructions correctly), lol. Should work for IPDA, once I get off my keister.

Hmmmm. That's a lot of exposed velcro. I have a Blackhawk instructor belt I use now that's been decent, but the velcro on the outside can get annoying. If you're not getting the outer belt, the velcro seems like it'd get obnoxious quick.

The fuzzy part is exposed, and I'm generally not wearing something that could serve as hooks/fasteners, but point taken.

I'll correct a bit. I'm off today, so could take out the belt and take pics. As the belt fits me, no hooks are exposed. In fact I can still tighten a bit from the pics shown below (and squeeze in IWB mag holders). There is a bit of the fuzzy Velcro exposed on the inside of the belt. If I was too fat for the belt, fasteners would be exposed on the outside.

The Stormrider inner belt is more uniform and rigid than a couple that are included for comparison in the first shot.

I was going to do a whole review, but won't. The belt is not rigid enough for an OWB, but IWB is fine. I'll wear it as a regular belt, but it doesn't have the plastic insert to make it appropriate to support OWB. Certainly is cool though.
