These are HARD to get and sell for several hundred dollars when they pop up on EBay. Numrich has them in stock for about $60 shipped.

    Buy it while you can.

These stocks are bare Birch with some handling so the DO have to be refinished but with some torching or tarring, Tung Oil and some attention they can look like this:

Nice looking wood. Too bad it has to be birch instead of oak though.

How did somebody manage to fit a heat shield on the Armslist gun?

An Aimpro Heat Shield is what you see. They are a slight bit shorter.

That also has a choate tube extension on a 5 shot model.

I though they wouldn't fit on the guns with that type of sight. Don't they have to slide on from the end?

Some of the 590's also have thicker barrels that may also make it not fit.

I thought so too till I saw one installed. They slide the rear part on first and then open the front with their fingers and the rebend it around the barrel. The clamp closes it back up.

Works on the HB models too.

Dern...they look sweet! but, they don't fit the 590a1 with the thicker barrel, do they?

The ones I just received do. I ordered 2 sets. 1 for a 5 shot 590A1, and 1 for a 7 shot 590A1. I didn't have to remove anything. If it was necessary it would be a minor amount at the top where the barrel contacts the wood forend.
