Glad they decided to man up with what they said last year . Just wished they waited to October and put it on Owe'Malley and Brown could of swung the election

This would be good if they completely moved out of Maryland but their corperate offices are staying in MD. So MD will still get tax money! I want them to leave and hurt this F*n state.

This was plain to see when Beretta first announced looking for production capacity elsewhere, well before settling on TN. MD got what it asked for. Good jobs and a boatload of tax revenue down the drain. More nearby businesses will probably call it quits soon. Job well done by MOM and crew. We're so much better off now.

    who didnt see this coming?

Yep! Stevie Wonder could see this coming.........

Hmmm......now let me think about this. Our business interests are better served in Maryland? Or in Tennessee?

Great Job Maryland General Assembly! Great Job O'Mao! Hell, what's another 300 good manufacturing jobs pissed away by the architects of this socialist "utopia"?

Hoping only that the company takes care of it's people here. Am betting they will. May Christmas come twice for them in 2015!

This is a wonderful issue to use in the upcoming AG race. Frosh's key piece of legislation leads to the loss of how many working class jobs?

The people of MD don’t care about working class jobs. They want more DoD/NSA/government jobs where they can sit around and scratch their balls all day while making bank. Frosh will be able to say that his legislation kicked a gun company that caused the death of billions of children out of MD and win on that alone.

I assume those employees who are willing to relocate will keep their jobs. Hope so anyway.

People get the govt they deserve. Good luck Beretta.

MOM will say the state is safer because they're leaving. Liberal thinking at it's best.

I spoke to an employee a few weeks ago who's based in Acokeek who said if the company pulls out entirely, they intend to move most or all employees who want to relocate.

It still won't make a dent in the Election results. And our taxes/fees will go up that much more to make up for the lost revenue. And we won't have that bit of leverage when the next round of gun control bills come through.

Sigh... even when we win, we lose. I really hate this state sometimes.

Owe'Malley and Frosh - destroying Maryland one job at a time....what a joke this state is!

Make that 300+ jobs at a time. When those two aim for fail, they go for full-on catastrophic fail. On the bright side, MD bankruptcy comes that much sooner. No reason to delay it necessarily.

How much did these lobbyists help us last time? I don't think it matters to these tyrants. Maybe it mitigated a horrible bill to a crappy one.

But I am no expert either.

By this logic, MSI closing up shop wouldn't be a big deal, either.

We need all the help we can get. Beretta leaving is not helping.

Exactly....the entire Baltimore/Washington corridor is becoming nothing more than those that work for some type of government, work for a government contractor or are hanging off the teets of the government..........

Baretta's leaving will have more of an impact than them staying. (Financial and political)

At least in the short term

My .02 (I know Erwos disagrees)
