This guy did a survey for us for fencing. He subsequently did some work for my daughter, substantially less expensive than the other folks she rec'd estimates from.

I cant help you with a surveyor in SoMD, but a few years back i paid a surveyor $800 to find my corners. The guy pulled out a metal detector and found them in no time! If i had to do it again i'd barrow/rent a metal detector first.
