Does anyone know how to verify that a Firearms dealer is properly licensed with the state and federal government?
If you are purchasing from a brick and motar company with signage and an obvious storefront That's one thing. But what about the smaller business owners with licenses who do transfers and sales from a less obvious location?
How do you protect yourself as a consumer from accepting a firearm during a period where a dealer may have let his Federal or State credentials lapse or is trchnically no longer in business?
