I have a reaction rod that I normally use for torquing barrels, but I am now building a 9mm upper so my reaction rod does me no good.

Does anyone have an upper receiver vice block in the Owings Mills or Westminster area that I could borrow to torque my barrel? I'd be willing to let you hold on to a deposit while I do the work or I could bring my upper if I can use your vise.

Is the reaction rod the one that goes into the chamber to prevent twisting? I only have a mag well block so can't help you out but I'll check with my friend in Hampden to see if he has the receiver vise. If you'd be willing I might like to borrow your reaction rod to install and remove some suppressor mounts.

Yes, the reaction rod locks into the barrel lugs on a .223/5.56 or .300 blackout barrel. Send me a PM and I will help you out.
