And now for the whiny, sob stories ... "Where did they get those guns ?"

I am laughing my ass off at their examples.

"I don't know if the Hopkins study was ever subjected to peer review..." :D

"In ____ years, there have been two problem dealers. That represents 0.008% of Maryland firearm dealers..."

Frosh trying to corner JJ, and JJ isn't biting.

Frosh says MSP isn't getting the records. JJ says they can come look at them any time. Frosh has no answer for that. Wants to know why dealers can't send the records, sees no reason why that would raise costs or otherwise inconvenience dealers when MSP can already inspect anytime during regular business hours.

Frosh backdoored and browbeat one of witnesses opposing the bill to "admit" the paperwork wasn't that bad, that dealers could easily comply. :sad20:

Our position back to his highness should be to provide EXTENSIVE details showing the additional paperwork ... starting with keeping duplicate records.

With all due respect to the persons presentlng their personal stories ...

    They were irrelevant.

The fiscal note to the bill as prepared by Legislative Services admits that the dealers would have to keep duplicate records.

It's there in black and white.

    i would call that burdensome.

Frosh crapping on one of MDS' own. Frosh asks why dealers aren't here protesting themselves.

Maybe because they're busy running their businesses?

It does beg to ask, though, was the representative of the dealers' association testifying?

Dealers pay dues to those people and I can't see that they do anything in return.

Someone should say that Frosh's issue should be with ATF, as opposed to harrassing the dealer.

Raskin asking a loaded question about "if we started from scratch, would you support any record keeping whatsoever?"

    They already have it........:whack:

    My God....they already have it!
