    The way I see it, a person has two options

    1. If you want it, buy it as soon as it hits the market. You snooze, you looze.

    2. Follow these words from the Declaration of Independence:
    "...whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government...,"

    The choice is yours and both can be made to work depending on the circumstances.


    There are other options but posting them would probably be a bad idea.

    Yep. It's by design. Inappropriate use of regulation (color of law) in such a broad context as to ensnare just about anything and everything. It's regulatory anarchy, no different than ObamaCare.

    Hell yes and then some, in vindictive overdrive. MD state govt has no shortage of childish ideologues who would sooner leave MD's economy in ruin than give up the dream of a lemming-style socialist utopia full of group hugs, rainbows, and mandatory facepalm (ahem, book).

    I have some concern that some of the letters are being written by the anti-gun crowd who monitor our board. They see us talking about a new legal rifle that looks scary and start writing to MSP about it.

    In that case check out this super duper gun I just bought. It fires 3 million rounds per inch! The name is AR-Putkokinantimouth 100X!

    Nah. It doesn't have a banana clip or a shoulder thing that goes up.

    But it did appear in an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie or two. That's the worst "evil feature" of them all. :rolleyes:

    Is there even a leg to stand on to ban guns by cosmetic appearance? That's ridiculous.
    That's the bizarre thing - there's not, and they state as much on the website. Even by their own stated rules, these rulings make no sense, and appear to be the result of someone eyeballing a gun rather than doing appropriate research.

    After reading this latest BS and thinking it over, I smell a Frosh-hole. I let the dealer I bought mine from know that if MSP decides to mine 4473s with an eye seizing them that MSP is welcome to visit Free America and try.

    Pardon my ignorance here, but since the "Century Arms " rifle (C308) has receiver parts that are more compatible with the Cetme design that the HK91 design, does this mean that original Spanish Cetme rifles are banned?

    Yup. And I'd reckon it's just a matter of time 'til they ban the VZ58/2008, which, from the mindset of the average gun-fearing lefty, is, considering the intent of the Oct '13 ban, for all intents and purposes effectively an AK.

    On a more positive note, I was surprised to hear from an ex-google employee that google permits its people to utter the word "gun" in a non-critical manner not only within its confines but via its internal communication systems.
    Most of this is redundant, but you'll get the idea within the first 10 minutes of so. There may be a glimmer of hope in the fruit-loop state after all:
