    My dad would like to do volunteer work with sports teams, at gun clubs, shooting teams, etc...

    If at all possible, he would also like to do 1099 work too. If you have any leads for the IT field, that would be great. He currently has a clearance, so that won't be an issue.

    If you have an Izaak Walton League near you he could look into joining there. I know the one in Damascus has a lot of volunteer opportunities. I could spend a LOT of time there if I had it now.
