Suppressor?

I have no plans on getting a trust, i want to get a suppressor can someone explain the process?

Find a good class 3 dealer.
Buy suppressor.
Get printed, two blue cards for ATF, live scan for MSP or your CLEO (CLEO may need prints, not sure, depends on where you live) for sign off. Also need 2 passport photos for ATF.
If using MSP, plan several weeks to months wait.
If using MSP, take form 4 to Pikesville and sign off in front of officer.
Once the form 4 comes back from MSP or CLEO, take it with blue cards and photos back to your dealer.
The dealer will send it in to the ATF along with the $200 stamp fee. some will let you write the check, others will write it.
Wait four a LONG time to take possession.
Forget about it if you can....

MSP Pikesville doesn't require print cards or photo for signoff.

Take them the Form 4 and your live scan receipt.

DO NOT SIGN THE FORM 4 UNTIL THE MSP OFFICER AT PIKESVILLE TELLS YOU TO. THEY MUST WITNESS YOUR SIGNATURE.

A good class three deal will walk you thru the process.
Just be sure of what you want to buy. You can't return the item if you are dissatisfied.
Read reviews. Watch youtube.com. Ask the dealer for demos. Go to shoots that have suppressors. Have the "host" gun already set up so IF you get a chance you can try someone else's suppressor on your gun.

Suppressors are fun. You will not be sorry.

I know you said you didn't want to doa trust, but one makes the process quicker and easier.

No prints. No photos. No MSP/CLEO sign off.

Go to shop, pick suppressor, write check to shop for toy. Write check to BATFE for tax stamp. Hand both checks and a copy of the trust to the shop and sit back and wait.

If one has a HQL, do you need another Live Scan?

yes, as far as I know. NFA stuff is separate from HQL stuff as far as MSP goes.

And, AFAIK, you need another set of fingerprints for every From 1/4 you submit.

They are not fingerprints to get you in the system, but to check to see if you are who you say your are, and are not a criminal.

LE signoff is some counties is much faster than MSP, if your sheriff does it.

Exactly. I've been finger printed out the ting yang. Seems crazy butt that's how NFA stuff woks.
