My website was blocked by an anti gun, anti marriage group this past week. Partly my own fault because my web guy said we needed to transfer to a more secure server system and I was waiting till I got back to the mainland.. I am not web savvy but wanted everyone to know that they might be coming after us. When you went to my website it said you been hacked now you have to deal with it.

    Just a heads up

I was there months ago looking to see if I could find a video of the Famed Walmart Meltdown, but I could not find it. ::shrug::shrug:

I'm kidding.... Good luck with your website

Yep, do that. FBI; MSP is useless (inform them as a courtesy call). Like right now. My guess is they left their footprints all over the hack, but they'll vanish in little time.

Exactly. I would snapshot the server asap and convert to virtual off the network. I have done this for forensics later on. you should run a nessus scan on the server from the outside to check for vulnerabilities, as well as internally to make sure the server is locked down properly or as best you can. One thing is to make sure you keep the server and apps up to date on service packs and patches. It helps alot to reduce the hacking.

An update. My webmaster saved the info on the hacker and I am about to take it to the local state's attorney.

Why not publish the session the Hacker left behind?

I mean, maybe some nice group pays him/them back a courtesy
