I'm near Annapolis, and desperately need new gutters for most of my house. I probably need some remediation for where the gutters have failed.

Does anyone know a good contractor that does business in gutters that they've dealt with in the last two years?

    Im looking for similar help.

I have a bunch of trees and my gutters seem to always get clogged. I had a guy install open cell plastic gutter inserts, it seemed to work for a couple years but now I'm having issues again. I think I just need someone to remove the plastic guard, clean gutters and downspouts, and do minor repair. I know of one fist sized hole that needs patch/seal. Recommend someone? The house is near Fort Meade, I need it done pretty quickly. Any advice appreciated.

The insert material is like a flexible plastic sponge:

Alton's did my roof, been in business for years, they do gutters as well. Lowest price of any roofs recently done in my neighborhood and it looks like they did a good job.

I got a couple of quotes, I'll follow up after the first rain when the work is done. Or earlier :)

I used White Contracting in Elkridge for my gutters and gutter covers, excellent work at a price almost a grand less than S&K, 410-796-2802. They are on Angie's List.

We got leaf guard and love them. If they ever get clogged they come clean them for free. They are one piece of aluminum for the run, no seems.

    Late followup.

I went with Ram Construction . They were not the cheapest (around $9 linear foot for 6" gutters).

    • They showed up on time
    • The gutters work
    • Everything was cleaned up
    • They caulked where they thought it was appropriate around windows, etc.

Since installation, every time it has rained, I have gone outside and smiled because "My gutters are working!!!".

They aren't cheap, but they are fast and complete.

Hmmm....in my head right now I'm thinking, "Is it cheaper to buy a big-ass ladder, or to just have some clog-free gutters tossed on?" Not having to buy a big-ass ladder and then climb up 3 stories certainly sounds awesome. My house is 30' wide and would need them front and back. Any rough guestimate on cost having gone through it yourself?

Had them install 6" gutters and downspout on my house. Very satisfied.

They are out of Odenton, not that it matters much.

They did my roof and were the only company that didn't want to sit me down and do a hard sale, just a simple give me your e-mail and we'll send you a quote.

They've done siding of a few houses around us too.

Yet to hear anything bad about them, they also let me use my Discover card for my roof which allowed me to get 5% cash back since they ran it thru a home repair store (5% cash back on home repairs at the time) WIN!

My house has 310 feet of gutters. After I got up off the floor from Gutter Guard's quote, I bought a new ladder and have been cleaning for some years.
(Thank God for single floor homes.)

Mine has about 220' of gutter and climbed the ladder for years, the back one would clog and spill into the stairwell flooding the basement in the middle of a thunderstorm or hurricane. I would have to climb the ladder in the middle of the storm to clear it, I sure do not miss that.
