Started with 16.7gr H110 and worked up to the following -

150gr FMJBT, 17.2gr H110 - works well, primer's looked great, rounds cycled fine - no FPS readings since I'm minus a chrony at the moment.

150gr FMJBT, 17.4gr H110 - also cycled well, showing signs of pressure.

150gr FMJBT, 17.7gr H110 - too hot, started to flowback and flattened out.

No grouping was attempted with these, just a basic function check and check for pressure signs.

Howdy from Missouri. New to the group and this is my first post here.... I found you thru a google search for 300 Blk load data. Nice board and some really nice posts of great data ! I have data for H-110 and Lilgun using Hornady V-Max 110 gr bullets. Have partial results with Nosler 125 grn B/Tips using both powders also, but I had some function problems, so I am redoing that load. (Your load data is going to help ! thanks) I just got 5 pounds of Sierra's 125 grn SP, # 2120. I am hoping to be able to get these babies to run well. The Sierra factory is less than an hour away + they sell seconds in the store there, I think these 125's should handle about anything I would use this rifle for! Just got my 1st chrony, so my previous tests do not have any of that data, but the rest will ! Anyway.... I just wanted to say HOWDY + Thanks for the post + the work in putting it up. Have a great weekend + an awesome Christmas !

    Sota Arms Upper, 16" S/S w/muzzlebrake/flash hider.
1:8 twist, Carbine length gas, free float barrel.
YHM complete lower, CAA 6 position stock.
RRA Stainless BCG. Load test optic for now.

I have some Hornady 100 gr SJ bullets that I'd like to experiment with; any thoughts? Powder, etc.?

What is the application? How fast do you want to push them?

Lil Gun works well for the 110gr bullets I have used in the past, mine were Sierra SP 110g jacketed.

I can't remember the exact load and I won't speculate online, but the load data is out there.

    Bump for more data.. lol

Loading for a 300AAC AR-15 pistol, 10.5" bbl, pistol length gas system, right now running a Spikes T3 buffer for supers, unsuppressed (and I have a few different buffers that I can swap out).

Mostly looking for sub loads, I have a variety of projectiles and powders to test with (including A1680, which it seems is a good choice for cycling sub loads), but I am a tiny bit concerned about underpowering a test load, so I gather, in some cases with subs, that it's better to work your way down, rather than up, no? Using a chrono to verify velocities along the way...

    What do you run successfully?

I run two loads very successfully on my Sota Arms 16" with AAC 7.62 suppressor. For subsonic I use Lehigh Defense ME 194gr bullets and 11.3 gr of A1680. I get consistent velocities of 1050 ft/sec. Very accurate at 100 yards with groups of under 1 "

Thanks Klunatic, that's one of the projectiles that I want to work up a sub load for!

We've run 220smk's out of my 8.5 pistol with a can. It's very MP5SD-ish except it hits like a dump truck. They cycle in a 16" carbine gas rifle without a can as well.

    220 smk
    2.17 coal
    11.3gr A1680

    Nosler Varmageddon 110gr
    2.06"
    4.5gr Trail Boss
    1030-1050fps in a 16" barrel.

Comically quiet through a can. Will not cycle action which keeps them bolt gun quiet. Will feed through a mag cycling with the charging handle.

Looks like I need to find some W296. Anyone want to trade a #1 for some Lilgun?

You should try the LilGun, I've had good results with it in the 300, I just haven't had the chance to get the chronograph out to see what it's pushing with LilGun. The Nosler book is showing around 2075 FPS with 16.5 grains and 125 Nosler pills.
Pictures of a couple of my groups with LilGun and H-110

I've got a couple of #'s of LILgun and H110. I'll get around to it eventually, but H110 has worked pretty well also.
