Hello, I am interested in having some work done to a few of my mil-surps. I wanted to see if you all have experience with parkerizing (Springfield M1903A3), shortening a mosin barrel, bedding to a new modern stock, etc. Any information you can provide about these type of services would be great.

    Thanks!

You might consider melonite in place of the parkerizing- if the part is media blasted prior to being treated it will look pretty close to parkerizing.

As for the mosin, I would also say you may want to go the same route.

Generally with nitriding the lot costs the same up to a certain poundage.

Anyways, I am having a rifle done right now after seeing one come back to a friend looking so beautiful it actually really took my breath away.
