Thank you for the link. It's interesting, if somewhat terrifying, reading from Darryl Issa's committee. The behavior evidenced by the FDIC is on a par with the worst excesses of organised crime. Telling a banker that his bank will be subjected to an immediate unscheduled audit if he chose to lend money to a legitimate business, because the FDIC regulator didn't like the business in question, demonstrates that the Federal Government has been co-opted to a remarkable degree by thugs.
While many regulators seem dismayed and taken aback by this, it remains to be seen whether the gangsters will win. They seem to have the backing of the current administration, so there's little point in having the DoJ look into it.
No doubt the bold defenders of the public's Right To Know will take up the banner and investigate. Right. . . . No.
That's not news. Chokepoint has been an ongoing topic of discussion since August 2013.
ANY NOTION OF ACCOUNTABILITY.....CAUSE IT DON'T EXIST IN WASHINGTONI'll repeat. The report is not news. It briefly documents what everyone who's followed the issue already knows. Importantly, did you notice what the report lacks? And can you surmise why?

Involved in or harmed by? Please clarify so I can make my buying decisions accordingly. There are IPs here that were involved in this "covert" operation. Heads need to roll and this is just another straw on the camel's back.

That's what I thought you meant but the "involved in" comment left me a bit confused. They had their accounts cancelled by the banks. This was an operation targeting the firearm industry. I doubt they partnered with any of them.

the operatives should be prosecuted
The clarification is appreciated. I was truly worried we had an IP that may have gone turncoat on us. Sorry for the misunderstanding.I corrected my statement.
