My 3rd Duffy's built AK and my favorite. All Soviet laminate. One more to go.
So, this wasn't a "custom built gun", but our gunsmith John threaded and set back the front sight on my personal CZ 527 in 7.63x39. He opened up a SilencerCo 5.56 Trifecta flash hider to allow the .30 cal projectile, because the smaller 1/2x28 threading allowed him to not have to "build up" the barrel before threading.
The top is my rifle, the bottom is the stock version.
