Not exactly a stand-up guy according to MD Case search. Wonder which one got him, first degree assault, 2nd degree assault, Possession with intent to distribute PCP & LSD, Possession, and a Plumbing business without a license are just a few of the cases. In one of them it listed his current address as Calvert Jail.

Transporting a Handgun in a Vehicle/Concealed Deadly Weapon

This thread got me thinking about another one http://smnewsnet.com/archives/39829/ and http://smnewsnet.com/archives/40463/second-firearms-possession-arrest-for-kashif-dyson-in-one-week/

    and the results

    http://casesearch.courts.state.md.us/inquiry/inquiryDetail.jis?caseId=18K13000006&loc=66&detailLoc=K

Firearm Poss W/Felony Conviction, not guilty
Regulated Firearm:Illegal Possession, guilty sentenced to 5 years
Handgun: Wear/Carry & Transport In Vehicle/Public Roads, Etc, not guilty
Knowingly Alter Firearm Id Number, not guilty (shouldn't this be a federal charge?)
    Rifle/Shotgun-Possession W/Felony Conviction, not guilty
Accessory After The Statute, guilty Defendant sentenced to 10 years, suspended to 510 days with credit for 510 days; Consecutive to Count #6

So after 4 felony charges and what should have been a federal charge he gets off with 510 days already served :sad20: He's probably already back to dealing drugs in LP City with a new gun

What's the assumption here? You think MSP cleared him and he was "legally illegally" sold these firearms?

Or is it more logical that he bought these regulated firearms illegally and not via a gun shop or MSP transfer?

Who knows maybe he lived out of state a while and bought them in a state which does not require backround checks and brought them back here. Maybe a straw purchase?

It's certainly plausible MSP made a mistake or he got a few 8 day releases but I doubt that.

Bingo. Looking at his past record the police were probably arresting him for something else and found the guns

Be careful with MD case search arrests do not necessarily translate to convictions even if PBJ'd. Does appear he has served time in prison hence conviction on one or more of his arrests.
