    Just a point of order, as an OH resident with orders showing you are stationed in MD you should be able to buy anything in either of those two states, but only long guns in other states.

    But not handguns in those "other" states?

    Basically you can only buy a handgun in a state that you are a resident. So, if you purchased a handgun in a state that you are not a resident of you must have it sent to a FFL who is located in your state to do the transfer.

    Correct. Handguns only in your state of residence.

    Also, only long guns that are legal in your state of residence and the state where the FFL is located.
