The initial purchase should be broken down to each element of the purchase. That would certainly increase the size of the list. Just sayin'.

HQL fee only payable to MSP by credit or debit card.
Training will be very difficult for inner city residents to obtain.

Limited number of places to get fingerprints taken.
Harder for poor and elderly to get protection.
Fewer choices of firearms (Banned guns).
Standard magazines are banned and reduced capacity magazines are not available for some guns.
Increased possibility law abiding gun owner will commit an inadvertent violation because of laws complexity.
Additional workload for police to administer.
Putting small businesses out of business and causing other business to leave the state.
Negative image for state "Don't move to Maryland because of their stupid gun laws."
    Increased transfer fees by FFL's.
Refusal of some out of state companies to conduct legal sales with Maryland residents because of laws complexity.

Add in minorities with the poor and elderly.

Once folks feel comfortable with their list, they might consider sending an e-mail or letter to their representatives demonstrating the negative impact of FSA2013.

Some LGS's going out of business, closing their doors or leaving the state.

Am looking for thread(s) that discuss this problem. As mentioned, I'm aware of Bart's in Glen Burnie and at least one other in Burtonsville, though the name escapes me at the moment.

Wondering if there is a list of positive (if any) effects of FSA2013 ? How many crimes have been prevented ? How many lives saved ? etc...

saying they closed due to FSA2013 is NOT accurate.

It may have been A factor, but not the cause.

The Gun Rack was looking at lease renewal, FFL renewal, aging owner who wanted to retire, AND FSA2013.

Look at the thread on Bart's, similar thing, several factors, NOT just FSA 2013.

Gun shops have been coming and going for YEARS, and will continue to come and go, even if no other gun laws are ever passed.

Constitutional Firearms in Fulton, Howard County closed

The shop in Burtonsville The Gun Rack

    Thanks.

Should have remembered The Gun Rack for sure. They offered discounts to Berwyn Members in the old days and I took them up on the offer once or twice.

Good point! Changed wording on my list to "Adverse impact on firearm commerce."
