Can you still do FTF sales of non regulated long guns after Oct?
    Or was that changed?
Of coarse between to MD residents

So, I was under the impression that post Oct '13 - Other than 'assault' weapons - there are no regulated long guns any more.

All legal rifles are then eligible for FTF transactions. Is this accurate?

Sort of. All rifles legal to transfer (other than inheritance of banned rifles) are eligible for FTF might be a better way to say it.

Might even be a couple more exceptions (LE etc).

Not to thread jack...but since rifles are ftf (not banned rifles anyway) is it on the seller to verify the buyer is not disqualified? In other words-if I sell a rifle to a guy and it's found that he's a felon; does MSP come after me?

AFAIK (I am not a lawyer) you can still transfer non-regulated long guns (for instance a ruger 10/22, remington 870, HBARs) but not what were previously regulated firearms.
