New to SBR's... So can u explain why you would need to engrave the lower .. Thanks

All SBR (Short Barreled rifles) require registration with the ATF under NFA rules. Once you pay your $200 tax stamp and are approved you have to engrave your lower with your name and/or the Trusts name that the SBR is registered under.

He's not super close to AA, but I've had awesome experiences with Harford Engraving Service whenever I'd started a new NFA project.

    Goodbye MD, Hello freedom

*Only if you submitted a F1...F4 will have the manufacturers info already on it and you need not add your own.

FYI, Harford Engraving Services no longer engraves firearms. I just put in for a quote and he said the laws/restrictions were becoming too cumbersome to continue.

They're not local but, Ident Marking Services does a great job. Turn around time was 2 weeks for me.

Do you need to completely disassemble the lower to have it engraved?

Not sure I want to try to remove the bolt catch roll pin.
