Mk12 Mod1 FINALLY COMPLETE

Well mostly. I have been completely obsessed with the Mk12 Mod1 since seeing/reading Lone Survivor. I ordered this upper from HCS, the company who made them for LS and built by the hands that created many of THE REAL Mk12 Mod1 rifles for CRANE. Kevin and Alan at High Caliber Sales have my utmost respect. What an OUTSTANDING product. This rifle will be heavily used so watch out yotes and prairie dogs. Without further ado...(sorry for iphone pics).

Upper is HCS Mk12 Mod1. I need new glass for this rifle. Probably Leuopold or Nightforce eventually. Lower is a regular S&W. Still need SSA-E trigger. I went for the SOPMOD stock instead of the A2 which comes standard. Few minor parts I need for complete accuracy but at least I can shoot it now.

I like it.... set out to build my own but ended going with PRI's newer free float instead.

Is that the correct gas block?

Nice Uppers indeed. I would get that G.B. pinned, especially if your going to be carrying it. Knights never used to pin G.B.s on certain platforms and then saw the light.
