    The forums I participate in that have "likes" buttons tend to be more courteous/civil than MDS. It also doesn't waste posts with :thumbsup: :tdown: :party29: :lol: smilies. It provides a means to agree with a post without having to post another inane post saying you agree with a post. It is a time saver for the poster, reduces overhead for the thread, and shows you agree with a post without adding more tripe to the thread.

    Do we really need a button,,, like the mods,,, to tell someone to get bent? I, for one don't need more reinforcement of my perfection.
