picked one up this week on gun broker for $419. You should ask around and see if someone has one and will let you shoot it, to see if you like it.

I was at Engage 7/11 at 5:30pm. I did not see any Shields in the display. They did have two M&P COREs 40 and 9.

I love my Shield 9mm! I got mine from the Gun Shack in Mt Airy 5/1/13

I have a "Sticky Holster" on the way and ordered up the PHL Skeleton Holster

FreeState has a couple in 9mm and in 45. We even have the extended mag for the 45.

Accurate in lovevile had both the shield 9 and 40. I don't believe s&w ever made one in 45.

Went with Gunbroker.com can't beat the price even after shipping and FFL fees.
Plus I won't have to wait an eternity, most FFL are releasing after 8 days.
