Just want to publicly thank Hafer's for the great customer service. I had a problem with my pistol (SP101) and I brought it there. This was my first time ever in Hafers. I figured they would look at it and get back to me. I didn't expect Tim to spend more than a half an hour right there trying to fix it on a busy Saturday. Long story short it wasn't fixable, not because of their skills but because Ruger wouldn't sell the needed part, so it had to get sent back to Ruger. Each step of the way Hafers kept me informed and explained my options. Couldn't ask for better service. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and helpful. Exact opposite of the grumpy gun store stereotype. Its a little bit of a trek for me but 100% worth it.
PS Ruger sent me a whole new pistol. I think there might have been an issue with them which is why they didn't sell that particular part? Only bummer in whole process was I had to go through the whole transfer/HQL thing since it was a new pistol.
