There's still plenty of warm days in the NWS foreast ahead. If anyone who has already made a prediction wants to push out their dates a little further... That will work.

In order for a "later prediction" to be valid... it will require a NEW post that includes a Quote of your Original Post. And be > 14 days ahead of the actual event,

    Pretty simple, right?

Oh no! You're getting me to crawfish on my original guess.
    11/23 it is! I'm sticking.

Snow Arrived In Deep Creek Today!!...

...but nothing more than a light dusting ... Nowhere near the 3% - er ... 3 inches required to claim the prize... ;)

I would be OK if I never had to fire up the Ariens this winter, but that ain't gonna happen. Sooner or later real snow will arrive...

    But, when?

November 17... I know that's maybe early but I think that this year's gonna provide lots of fluffy white stuff to Appalachia. Early and often are the watchwords.

    Great karma. Thank you.

If (when) I win, I cede my winnings to the Scouts or the Hooli boys so as to save shipping hassle.

December 7th. If not already taken. Above applies.

    Thanks again!

I'm still sticking to my later guess (not that I have a choice at this point ;))

    You're working all winter?
    :shocking:

You are good, the snowplow was put on the UTV this past weekend. Any quantities of snow are far off for now.

Yes I'm at Letterkenny Army Depot until we stockpile 250 miles of 20 inch steel gas line, 60 feet at a time. Figure I'll be here the biggest part of winter.
Already missed the first day of rifle season.:mad54:

With these warm temps you should be asking when the flowers are going to bloom?!............Today in Friendsville the flys, mosquitos, were out and I saw a wasp out flying around.....very odd weather pattern.

Should get two inches tomorrow according to the weather man. Depending on your elevation of course. I have Dec 6th, but it looks like that won't happen.
