Doing paperwork on it today. 6" Blued Model from 1976-77. I'll be ordering the Archived Certificate from Colt as soon as I get it home.

May be swapping on a white outline rear sight and getting rid of the scope/mount. Finish looks excellent, hopefully the scope mount didnt scuff too much up. Im a little put off by the extra holes on the top rail for the scope mount but it'll be a shooter anyway. Price makes it worth it :party29:

    Very nice! Congratulations.
I don't have any plans for a Python because they are way out of my price range (by a factor of 2 or 3).
Perhaps if I win the lottery.

Congratulations. MY regret is that years ago I sold mine when I needed some cash. Just thought I'd get another sometime in the future but with prices going up I doubt if that's going to happen.

If you want Colt Custom shop to tune it up, do it soon, as I understand it, the old timers that know these pistols are retiring, one by one.

I picked up a 4" that I should send to them.

The bluing is a nice as the trigger, best revolver I've ever seen. Care to share the costs?:D

Less than they're selling for online :party29:

A trip to Colt is planned, I'd like to have the rear sight replaced and the action looked over. I'd really like to get my hands on a 4" Nickel pistol before said old timers are out of the office...

Much love for this revolver. Very nice. Keep her classy and ditch the scope mod on her. Personally it takes away the classic lines of this beauty :)
