I want to say a big thanks to all the folks who are making this happen, I can't even begin to tell you how impressed I am at your willingness to give your valuable free time to help make sure that other folks can enjoy our love of this sport safely.

To Phil, Mike and Chris, you guys give an awesome class!! Thanks so much for coming all the way down here to help the folks that don't even know they're being helped yet. You guys are a class act, you treated me like family when I came to visit your range and have asked nothing in return, that shows true character gentleman and I can tell you that words are just not good enough to say THANK YOU.

I even managed to get an NRA certified training counselor to come up and observe our class and give it a blessing, he was very impressed with you guys. He isn't a member here yet but I'm gonna thank him as well, Thanks Jerry.

To the ENSF staff, thank you for accepting our help and allowing the shooting community to show that we can and will take responsibility for our own. You are allowing the mdshooter community the ability to show all those nay saying politicians that we are not lunatic gun nuts but responsible citizens in our community.

If I forgot anybody I apologize as it was not intentional.

I guess all that remains is setting up the next group of trainees and get the newly taught policing Elk Neck.

If only it were that easy man, we still have a bunch of things to get done and my time frame to go from zero to fully functioning in less than 60 days is running very short. We won't be doing another class until we have everything up and running smoothly.

I wanted to say thanks again for putting this together. You guys were some of the best instructors I have seen in awhile. I am honored to be a part of this.

Thank you all for showing up for the class. The teachers were outstanding, very informative, learned a lot. Wish we had more time to socialize. Had fun, see ya at the range.

P.S. Someone forgot a camo hat and a cool cup, we will be selling them on ebay lol. I will hold them for you.

Big thanks to Chris, Phil, and Mike. You guys ran a fantastic class. I was telling 3rd on the ride home that typically when I rate a class outstanding its so nobody gets their feelings hurt but today's class was truly OUTSTANDING.

Big thanks to 3rdRcn for all the work he has put into this and for taking the time to drive me to the place twice today just to make sure I know how to get there

CYA guys at the range

Just wanted to let everyone know that I started a new group Elk Neck RSO'S.
I hoped we could use this to discuss the program as it progresses. We could use this to report to each other about the problems we have encountered and who to watch out for and so forth. Let me know your thoughts on this and if it is not I will remove the group.

Had a good time today. It was nice meeting all of you today. I look forward to helping out at the range in my limited capacity. As the days get longer and we need evening coverage I will be able to put in more time. If anyone knows of a good job with weekends off, let me know.

To 3rdrcn and the rest of the instructors I want to thank you for setting this up and your time. And to ENSF I want to thank you for going to bat for us with the powers that be to keep the range open and giving us the chance to make it safer.

Could all of the volunteers please go to this social group and join so that we don't clutter this thread up.

http://www.mdshooters.com/group.php?groupid=28

I will pass information and discuss things in the above social group from here on out.

I will echo all the thanks from the previous posts.
I really appreciate all the effort from everyone who had a hand in putting the class on yesterday. Thanks to the guys who attended as well. I’m very proud that so many folks (especially the guys who don’t even shoot at Elk Neck) have come together to save our range.

I'd like to volunteer my time. I've been shooting at this range for years, and though I'm not yet a RSO, I'd be happy to take the offered class to learn how to do the job properly.

Thanks for your interest in the RSO program, and welcome to the forum! 3rdRcn is the man to contact about the next class, shoot him a PM if he accidentally misses this thread.
