The Miller guy also advertises in the Garand Collectors Assoc journal as specializing in Garand work.

Roger Miller is a good guy.
Dennis at All pawn in White Plains now has an FFL, prices at the store are high but his transfer fee's are reasonable.

hey guys, don't forget that if you are doing a person to person transfer of a regulated weapon, it's illegal for the dealer to charge more then $20 above fees.

5-124
Quote:
(b) Processing fee.- A firearm applicant for a secondary sale of a regulated firearm through a licensee shall pay to the licensee a processing fee not exceeding $20.

I usually go to MSAR.

+1 on Accurate G&A, I'm still trying to find KS. I always forget to bring his number when I'm in the area. I'm putting it in my wallet right now!

Another vote for Mr Roger Miller, he's had to have done at least a dozen transfers for me on non C&R weapons......

+1 on Mark.

But gee, 50 bucks to make a phone call and fill out two forms is a bit on the steep side for a non regulated weapon.

Everytime i pass by i buy a couple boxes of ammo, and i got my Ruger 556 from him.

Has anyone deal with this one???

Transfer fee: $25.00 (long guns only!) plus sales tax

Do they charger sales tax on the whole weapon or on the transfer fee???

I might just drive to keepshooting.

Also does Nick still charge 25 for non regulated???

I am doing a regulated through Keepshooting right now, they charged 35 bucks. I was happy, and they ended up with 225 worth of accessories in magazines and stripper clips. I used to drive out to Cobb Island. That guy was nice, bu was a MUCH longer drive for me, and since it takes two trips...

I recommend both though.

Keepshooting. Not set up for drop in , or public in general.
Call, or PM Brian. You can get things rolling without a personal visit.
