Heads up. Keep an eye on the trigger guard pivot pin. If it shows any sign of walking out while you're shooting, you'll want to loc-tite it in place. I think it's extremely unlikely.

Finally brought my P64 home yesterday, and swapped out the hammer spring last night. The 18 lb spring from Wolff makes all the difference in the world: the pistol was virtually unusable with the original spring.
Anyway, here are some pictures to make it official. |

1. ??? Foot?
2. It's a Springfield "Loaded". I really like the grips; I think they're cocobolo. I replaced the full length guide rod with a GI guide rod and plug. I also want to replace the trigger with a short trigger (I have small hands). I have a GI trigger around here somewhere. Not sure if I should use that or find a commercial trigger. Also not sure if I should do it myself, or have it done by a 1911 smith. |

Looks great!!! (except the foot) You took great pics. I haven't had the chance to shoot mine yet, it was raining last week. Hopefully this week I can make it to the range. I'm going to try the orginal spring, if I don't like it i'll do the switch too.
