I've had a Howa 1500 varminter in .223 for a couple years now, and it has been great. Smooth and reliable action, and very accurate, for the money they are hard to beat. The triggers can also be polished and tuned easily, and can easily surpass almost any other factory trigger with about 5 minuted worth of work stoning it, and adjusting it.

i would like to work the trigger some on it, and find what it likes to shoot, i was able to throw three rounds down it yesterday and it shot an inch and a half group at 100 yards with 150 grain core loks. The group should tighten up a little with some trigger work and me getting use to the rifle. And the houge stock is awsome!!
