I thought this was a good show. There was a lot of C&R stuff there. There was also a lot of AR stuff to. Ammo prices didn't seem to bad. We were there most of the day and it really wasn't all that crowded at least I didn't think it was anyway.

Always a good show. I bought a bunch of reloading goodies for my AR-10.

Had a bad experience with one of the dealers there. Buyer beware with Big John's Guns. He is a dealer that gives firearm owners a bad name. I let the promoter know about it at the door and he said he has received complaints about the same guy. Hopefully he won't be back in February. Everyone else I dealt with was fantastic.

Went from about 3-5. Decent selection of gear, deals on ammo and some reloading stuff was still scarce, lots of C&R as usual. It was kinda funny to see the battle between those with ZOMG prices and those that were reasonable. Found one guy with a couple dozen mint condition Colt revolvers, including some snakes and a nice blued Delta Elite. Met slimjim and bought a couple bags of bacon cheddar nutterz, and bought some more M1A stripper clips and a GI guide. The high point was trying to explain Ohm's law to the stun gun lady, and the wife, and how it proved a 3.5 million volt stun gun with an arc that could only jump a 1/2" air gap was an impossibility(33kV per cm of dry air means to produce a 3.5million volt spark, you would need to arc across a 42" air gap) The lady had it coming when she said you shouldn't carry a gun, and should carry one of her stun guns because "guns don't stop people like a bolt of lightning does", and that "it is wrong to kill a criminal, because after one hit from this they will be motivated to turn their life around" Basically pissed her off when I inferred she was a moron, and asked her what the hell she was doing at a gun show

Picked up 900 rounds of federal xm193 on strippers.Saw a sweet scar for $3,295.Type 77with mum.S&W AR in 22 for $399 others going for a hundred more. They also had the new Colt 22lr but 200 or more for them.I did notice that mags for S&W were 19 bucks compared to 33 bucks for the Colt. One bad thing about S&W,no flashider.I know it has really no effect on 22lr but rifle looks naked without one.

hey alucard was the stun gun lady at a table with her husband and son about 12. She sounds like the one at the DE show that I had to listen to for two days -- their table was near mine. they kept triggering the little pink one to show the ladies that the mere sound of the snapping arc would cause anyone with bad thoughts to go running away screaming into the night.

Yup, that was her, with the 1.21 Gigawatt pink stunguns, and the little pink ones that double as a flashlight. The conversation went on far longer than I should have allowed it to, but this lady was incredible with the claims she was making about these things. Oh yea and tazers are crap too, they won't put someone down for more than a few seconds because they only have 50kV, hers are 100 times more powerful so they will flatten someone for an hour

The wife pulled me away before I opened my mouth and my wallet for a wager and demonstration(wouldn't have done it, but was definitely thinking it), she couldn't belive I got so so upset from some lady telling me that I am wrong, and she doesn't know Ohm's law, or what it has to do with electronic stun guns, but "PA law" says they are legal

Basically it was one of those situations where the longer the conversation goes the more the person is proven to be an idiot. A small audience gathered when she started badmouthing concealed carry, and basically said there was no reason someone should carry a gun. I said my peice, was relatively polite about it, went back and forth a couple times then left when I started to get POed, being I was carrying at the time (concealed means concealed, even for the gun checkers at the door), didn't want to draw any more attention than I already had.

I have taken a hit from a million volt stun gun before(one of my finer "hold my beer, I'll do it for $20 shennanigans), feels like getting snapped with a giant rubber band repeatedly, but does not affect anything else, you can fight right through it, and outside of an odd burnt peanut butter taste in your mouth for about 5 minutes, no real affects. Now I wouldn't take a hit from a tazer for a weeks pay, possibly more, they work, and do not look to be pleasant.

I didn't see any ammo x 39 just x 54, but I saw 2 AR uppers in the mid $700's, and a couple of mags in a few places. I had been thinking about an AR in 7.62, but moved on.

I saw one gentleman selling Wolf 7.62x39 HP in 20r boxes, 1 box for $6 or 4 for $20. I'm new at this, so I don't know if that's a deal but I noticed several other people selling the same boxes at $7.99 ea. I guess by comparison it was a good deal.

He was in the middle of the show toward the front of the room, only had about 3-4 different types of ammo all displayed in surplus ammo cans.

Thanks for the info Bullfrog and Crasher. 5 bucks a box is pretty good cash and carry nowadays.

Somewhere between there and coming back he changed his mind and the owner told him the deposit was non-refundable. He was belligerent, aggressive, and very loud. We are talking 10 minutes max the gun was off the table. Unbelievable. If that is not theft, I don't know what is. According to the promoter, we were not the only ones who are victims of his behavior. Nothing was communicated to us that the deposit was non-refundable during the transaction. I ended up there sunday. Prices were pretty good. People were actually selling GUNS and not dream catchers and pepper spray like I've seen at timonium and pikesville. Pikesville shows are such a joke these days....

HATE THESE PA SHOWS!!
Too many guns! Takes way too long to get thru!
Too many tempting prices.

Like the Md shows much better. Only takes about 30 min. to blow thru and with crazy prices never tempted to buy.

Does look like Obama Madness is starting to abate.

Wait til Eric Holder decides people aren't paying enough attention to him, and starts to crank down on 2A again.

That sounds pretty lame to me. If it were a long period of time, I get it...but 10minutes? Sounds like he just didn't handle the situation very well at all. Thanks for the info...

The guys at Continental Arms told me they were not going to do the Pikesville show anymore. They must set up 20 tables there, that is going to leave a big void.

They should cancel that show anyway, its not worth the 10 minute drive for me, even if it was free to get in, not worth it
