Sir, if I may be so bold: it's because he's playing the "politics" game. He gave us a little nugget because his advisers are trying to tell him how to get re-elected. It's not his second term yet. When it is, WATCH OUT. Remember also, a favorite game politicians like to play is giving "the people" a "win" from the left hand, while they're getting ten of their own little "wins" in the right hand behind their back. Yet, only the good one gets in the news.

This isn't just a concern for gun rights. This time we are in now is a CRISIS for our BILL OF RIGHTS. You don't realize it, but our Bill of Rights, and any remaining restrictions blocking the government from totalitarian control are nearly gone. Pay attention, and pay attention well - We will be telling our children stories about what it was like to be free.

We've lost almost all of it between two presidents alone. Just because it's not affecting you right now, doesn't mean it's not affecting others.

Just a few:

Military Comissions act of 2006, Patriot Act, National Defense Authorization Act, recent OUTRAGEOUS use of the Reynolds Privilege to cover up anything that might hinder their totalitarian control. THAT'S JUST A SMALL BIT.

He is a 100% corporatist when it comes to how he lives in his own life. He is a socialist when he is planning how he wants us to live.
