You all are an amazing group of wonderfully generous human beings. Thanks smokey0118 for sharing your personal experience with this awful disease. A friend of mine takes so many pills just to make the symptoms easier to manage but the side effects can be unforgiving. She spent 10 days in the hospital getting an infusion due to an unpredicted flare up. The cause is still unknown. There are so many folks living with this in silence. Every little bit helps.

I closed this yesterday and transferred the donations to The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. $460 (I rounded up to $500 for the final donation) was collected thanks to the generosity of members of MDShooters. Thank you guys so much and my friend really appreciates it as she is at 90% of her goal now. Now let's hope and pray for a cure for this terrible disease.
